An electronic signature, or e-signature, is an electronic indication of intent to agree to or approve the contents of a document, and is valid and legally binding across the globe. The U.S. has enacted both the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) to facilitate the use of electronic records and electronic signatures. Electronic signatures and records are just as good as their paper equivalents, and therefore subject to the same legal scrutiny of authenticity that applies to paper documents.

Of course! You can use our standard health form, or use your own. We can include any question, in any format, in any order. As part of the on-boarding process we’ll have you send us a copy of your current forms and we’ll make sure to add everything into your new SchoolDoc.com account!

We know that many schools are required to hold on to student and staff health forms for many years. As long as you are a SchoolDoc.com customer, your data will be saved indefinitely and you can always access historical records. If for any reason you decide to stop using our service, simply download all of your health records to store on your own.

It sure does! No more “why do I have to fill this same form out again” from your families.  Families don’t have to start from scratch every year, and can simply update information each season, saving them lots of time!

Funds are transferred into your account at the end of every day, when your balance is greater than $500.00. Processing time for funds to settle into your account is typically 3-5 business days.

Families can register and pay deposits and tuition online with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Yes, it really is free.

For those already using our Electronic Health Record, there is no additional cost to use the feature, and everything will integrate directly into SchoolDoc.com.

For those not taking advantage of our EHR, it’s still free. There is no additional cost to the school, with no set-up fees or monthly fees to use this service.

We sure do!  SchoolDoc.com provides the ability to customize the system to fit your organization; however, you may have complex needs. For example, you may want to setup single sign-on (SSO) with your current software. When this is the case, your web developers can implement custom functionality with our API.

Nope!  You can have as many Provider accounts as you’d like, and there are no fees for these accounts.

This is an easy one, there are no limits!  Ask as many questions as you’d like, and include as many forms as you’d like. There are no extra fees for extra questions or extra forms.

Our Web Team works everyday to improve and expand SchoolDoc.com. Our system is web-based, and the minute a new feature is released, you have access to it. There is nothing to download, and never a charge for updates.

Absolutely! We are happy to train your staff at any time. However, SchoolDoc.com is extremely user friendly, and the vast majority of our schools are operational immediately without any training.

We require a small deposit at the time you sign up, and no other payments will be due until the end of your first month of school.

No contracts here. We are so confident that once you experience SchoolDoc.com, you won’t want to leave. You can discontinue service at any time for any reason, without any contractual obligation forcing you to stay.

Absolutely not! There are no start-up fees, customization fees, technical support fees or any other hidden fees you might be thinking of.

We support the current and previous major releases of Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari on a rolling basis. Each time a new version is released, we begin supporting that version and stop supporting the third most recent version. Our team makes use of new capabilities available in modern, up-to-date browsers, and that’s why we support only modern browsers, which also provide improved security and performance. No, SchoolDoc.com is not a memory-intensive application and can certainly be run using lower bandwidth dial-up or satellite connections.

What if my school doesn’t have internet access? What if my internet connection goes down?2015-09-24T20:54:56+00:00

Not a problem! You are still able to benefit from SchoolDoc.com even if you do not use the internet on a day-to-day basis.

By having your families complete their health information online, you are still able to print and/or downloaded these forms to use in your clinic, in a typed and easy to read format. In fact, most of our schools keep a hard copy of their health forms on file. They will typically use the online portion for day-to-day operations, and print out hard copies to send with their students on trips or to use in the event that their internet goes down. Some of our schools also download the forms and keep them stored on their computers or a jump drive to access without the internet. Also, in the event that records are ever lost or misplaced, they always have access to them online where they can be downloaded/printed again.

SchoolDoc.com can be accessed on iPhones, iPads or other smartphone or tablets, so if the school’s internet goes down, you are always able to connect wirelessly through your mobile device.

HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, is a federal law that establishes confidentiality standards for patient health information and is required by covered entities who bill health insurance companies. Unlike your child’s healthcare provider, SchoolDoc.com is not regulated by HIPAA as we do not store data on behalf of health care providers nor do we bill health insurance companies. Rather, our primary relationship is with the parent/guardian and their school organization. However, even though SchoolDoc.com is not covered by HIPAA, we are still fully committed to protecting your student’s privacy and the security of your personal information.
