The Challenge

Providing healthcare from 7:00 AM until 10:30 PM for over 300 students was a huge challenge for the school’s health staff. For years, the health center maintained duplicate paper records for every student.

The main health record was used by the school nurse to record illnesses and injuries that occurred on campus. The school also kept a back-up health record ready to go, in the event that a student needed to be sent to the hospital or emergency room. This system was not efficient, easy to access, or environmentally responsible. Despite these challenges, the staff at Grier School was comfortable and familiar with the current workflow.

After extensive research, the Grier School selected SchoolDoc to improve the health and safety of students.
